Apothecary Art

Hi again

I have been busy making lots of things since I last posted.  So this afternoon I thought I would take some time to try and catch up on my posting.

I am just loving the new stamp sets in the new SU mini catalogue, and this stamp set is one of my favourites.  Believe it or not I made these cards at Sally’s Friday night card class.  Yes I know it is not her normal style but I really love these very pretty girly cards.

I’m not usually a big fan of pink, but I couldn’t resist making these three cards, they were just too pretty to not make.

Take a look at the first one.

It was a bit tricky colouring the vallum with a blender pen but the effect is really lovely.  Like I said they are super girly and very pink but oh so pretty.  We also used the matching framelits to make a border for the stamp.

Here is the second one, its another pink one.

With this second one we also used the edgelits, I just love the scalloped edges on the white card stock and vallum.

As I have mentioned before brown is Sally’s favourite colour and true to form she couldn’t stay away from it for too long.  For this third card we left the pink and white behind and went back to the old faithful colour.

Although we keep the pink to keep it feminine.  Again we used the edgelits to give this card a different shape to the usual.  Just loving the Attic Boutique DSP which is what we used with this card.

Hope you have enjoyed looking at my cards today.

Thanks for visiting.
