This year I have decided to attend the annual Stampin’ Up! convention to be held in Brisbane this May. I am so looking forward to it, not only will it be my first convention it will be my first as a demonstrator. I have heard such wonderful things from my friends and fellow demonstrators about convention.
However, a part of convention (if you choose to do so), is to make swaps to share with other demonstrators. I usually hate making swaps, only because I get sick and tired of looking at the same card, colours and stamps after a while. So with this in mind I made a decision to only make 100 swaps. I know that sounds impressive but it’s not really, some of my fellow demonstrators make up to 400+ to take to convention. I just couldn’t tackle that large a number.
Anyway, I am happy to announce that I have completed all 100 of my swaps and unbelievably I still actually like the look of them. Usually I get half way through and start to think they are so very very ugly. I tried a little trick with making my swaps by making the same design just in two different colours in an attempt to not get bored with them halfway through.
Here’s a sneak peek of one of my swaps. Can you work out what colours I have used here?
Hope your having a great day.
