South Pacific Convention May 2013

Hi friends

Well I promised I would post some photos of my fabulous time at convention.  As I have mentioned this was my very first attendance at a Stampin’ Up! convention, and boy am I glad I went.  I can’t tell you how amazingly fantastic it was.  It was definitely one of the best weeks of my life.  I got to meet the co-founder and CEO of Stampin’ Up! Shelli Gardner and her gorgeous husband Stirling.  They are so friendly and down to earth and very approachable.

I laughed a lot and shed some tears too.  Some of the inspirational stories that we heard from the presenters were real tear jerkers.  I got to know people I already knew on a more intimate level and learnt lots of new things, along with getting the opportunity to preview some great new products that will be released with the new catalogue in June.

I also got to experience the wonderful infectious enthusiasm of the amazing Bonnie Thurber and Brian Pilling.  I had lovely accidental chats (usually in the hotel lift), with some of the US staff, including Rich Jutkins the President and CEO of Stampin’ Up!.  Sorry do I sound like a name dropper?

Ok enough of my chit chat here are some of my favourite photos.

P1020349This is two of my favourite people, Michelle Zahra (my upline), on the left and Shannean Moncrieff (my up upline) on the right.

P1020354This is my new friend Alexis (left) and another of my favourite people Coral (right).  In the background you can see Helen having a chat as usual….lol

Some more of my most  favourite people, Sandra (left), Sally, Jan and Kathy.

Check out this beautiful stage set.  The background colour kept changing.  If this frame looks familiar it’s because it is very similiar to the cover of the new Stampin’ Up! cataglogue.  The flowers and bunting were so intricate and beautiful.

P1020362How amazing is this giant flower that was on the side of the stage.

This is the lovely Shelli Gardner (co-founder & CEO) welcoming us all to convention.

P1020387Here is me and Shelli in the demonstrator workshop area.  There were stations that previewed some great new products that are coming up and we were shown how best to use them.  Can’t wait to get my hands on them.  I had so much fun playing it really was hard to leave.

Now what would a blog post about a Stampin’ Up! convention be without a photo of the gorgeous Bonnie Thurber.  She has such an infectious love of all things SU that you can’t help but love her the minute you meet her.

My final photo for this post is me (left) and my wonderful upline Michelle, isn’t she just gorgeous.  I really love this lady she is always there for me whenever I need her and I appreciate everything she does for me.  You know, the best thing about being a part of Stampin’ Up!, isn’t the fabulous events or the amazing freebies and rewards we receive, it’s the people you get to meet.
Everyone I have met through Stampin’ Up! is lovely, generous and kind, they are more than just work associates, they become life-long friends, people you can turn to in good and bad times.  I am so very thankful for all these wonderful ladies and hope that they know how much the all mean to me.

If you would like to experience this same kind of connection with people, while receiving an amazing discount on all your craft purchases then contact me today at to see how you too can join my team, and become a valued member of the Stampin’ Up! family.

Tina x
