ESAD Birthday Fairy – February part 4

Hi Friends

I’m back again to show you the forth card I made for the ESAD birthday fairy challenge.

EASD Birthday Fairy (4)

Today’s card is very similar to yesterdays in that I used the Flower Shop stamp set, however, this time I didn’t use the Petite Petals stamp set.  The designer series paper is the Gingham Garden again, and I used Whisper White and Melon Mambo card stock and Melon Mambo ink.  The centre flower has some small pearls in the centre too.

The Circle Framelits from Stampin’ Up make it so very easy to make these cards and they are quick too, which is great when you are short on time.

Tomorrow will be the last card in this series, although I have been crafting so I still have lots to show you.

Sorry that today is a short post but I have lots to do tonight.  I am still trying to get through my 1200 emails that I haven’t had a chance to read.

I hope you can come back tomorrow to see my next card.

Thanks for visiting.

ESAD Birthday Fairy – February part 3

Hi Friends

Wow three days in a row of blogging, what is going on….lol

No seriously I really do like blogging just sometimes life seems to get in the way.  I even made my way to the craft room today and made some convention roomies gifts for the Stampin’ Up! convention in May.

I won’t be posting a photo of my roomies gifts until after the convention in May as I don’t want to spoil the surprise for the girls.

Guess that means you will just have to keep coming back or better still subscribe by email to my blog so you never miss a thing.

Today’s card is the third of the ESAD Birthday Fairy cards I made for the ladies celebrating their birthday in February.  Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to post them off this morning as I mentioned yesterday so I will be doing it during my lunch break on Monday.

I hope the girls can forgive  my tardiness.

EASD Birthday Fairy (3)

Like the two previous cards this is a swing card made with the Circle Framelits from Stampin’ Up! and the Gingham Garden DSP.  I also used the Flower Shop and Petite Petals stamp sets for the flowers.  The card stock is Whisper White and Pear Pizzazz and all flowers were stamped in Pear Pizzazz ink.  The centre of each flower has a small pearl.

Remember you can order all these products and more over at my SU blog and have your purchased delivered to your front door.

Pop back tomorrow to see the fourth card in this series.  I am hoping to do some more creating tomorrow that I will be able to show you, I have a few requests for cards from work for specific occasions that I need to get done.

Thanks for visiting.

ESAD Birthday Fairy – February part 2

Hi Friends

Well as promised I am back and hopefully with a vengeance.

I have missed blogging and crafting and am hoping now that my life has calmed down again I can get back to doing both on a regular basis.  Now that my husband has gone back to sea and things have settled down I am hoping to spend most of this weekend catching up on my crafting obligations, so I will have lots to show you in the coming weeks.

Today’s card is the second card I made for the ESAD Birthday Fairy Challenge for February, and has no stamping besides the greeting.  That’s the great thing about Stampin’ Up you can make so many different cards or scrapbook pages with or without stamps and they will also turn out looking fantastic.  Don’t you just love to have choice????

EASD Birthday Fairy (2)This card was again made with the Circle Framelits to create this cute swing card.  I used Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz, Island Indigo, Melon Mambo and Night of Navy card stock.  The designer series paper is Gingham Garden, and the flowers are punched out using the Petite Petals punch.

Swing cards are so simple and quick to make yet still hold that WOW factor we all love to receive in a card.

As I mentioned yesterday I am yet to post these off to their recipients but am planning on doing that tomorrow.

All products can be easily purchased by emailing me you order, texting me or visiting my business blog at and clicking on the SHOP button in the top right hand corner.  This will take you to the Stampin’ Up shop where you can select me as you demonstrator and then shop to your heart’s content all in the comfort of your own home in your pj’s if you choose.  All orders placed online will be delivered directly to your home so no middle man…Yay!!!  Stampin’ Up! really do make it as easy as possible to get your hands on all their fantastic crafty products.

Remember, come back tomorrow to see the next card I have made for the ESAD Birthday Fairy challenge.

Thanks for visiting.

ESAD Birthday Fairy – February

Hi Friends

Well as you would’ve seen yesterday I have joined a blog hop that is all about posting my creations on my blog more often.

So I figured I may as well get my act together and post some of the cards I have been making.

When I transferred the photo’s from my digital camera to my laptop I was surprised to see how little I have done in the past couple of weeks.  I know I have been busy but I guess it hasn’t been card making that has kept me busy, rather life and all the challenges it brings.

This card is the first in a series of five cards I made for the ESAD Birthday Fairy Challenge I am involved in.  I must admit that although March is nearly over and done with I haven’t even made a start of the March Birthday Fairy cards.  Guess I better get busy this coming weekend.  I have another confession these cards that were made for the February ladies who are participating in this challenge haven’t even been posted yet, so I really am very behind with my obligations.  Best get along then I guess.

Like January’s card I decided to pick one or two elements and continue it through all the cards while still making them different from each other.  The January one’s all used the same stamp set and DSP and February’s cards all use the same stamp set, DSP and the same framelits.

I decided to try out my new swing card framelits when making these cards.

Here is my first card.

EASD Birthday Fairy (1)

This card is made with Gingham Garden DSP, Petite Petals and Flower Shop stamp sets and Island Indigo and Whisper White card stock and Island Indigo ink pad, all available from Stampin’ Up!.

If you would like to purchase any of these products, check out a catalogue or learn how to make this card please contact me by either email at, or call/text  me on 0405 154 906 or pop on over to my business blog at and check out both my projects and suggested projects from Stampin’ Up! or purchase products by clicking on my SHOP button, and have your products straight to your front door.

Please don’t be shy in leaving me a comment about my cards, I always love to hear what you think, however, I do ask that you be kind when posting comments.

Don’t forget to pop back tomorrow to see the next card in this series of five.

Thanks for visiting.

Quick Update

Hi Friends

Yes I know it’s been almost a month since I last posted. Unfortunately life has got in the way of my blogging again.

You may remember I posted a little while back that I had been diagnosed with tennis elbow?

Well as if that isn’t enough, my husband had a motorbike accident about 3 weeks ago while staying in Sydney for work.  He was hit by a card who ran a red light and ended up in hospital in Sydney for a week.

He was flown home to Cairns after a week in hospital and had a week of recuperation at home before visiting the navy doctor and being sent back to work.

Thankfully he only had minor injuries and was wearing all his safety gear which saved him from more extensive injuries.  We were very concerned about his left (he has had two surgeries on his hand in recent years), and were very relieved when x-rays showed no damage to the hand which was only recently cleared by the surgeon in Brisbane.

His pain is easing and he has visited the chiropractor this week because he was suffering from back pain as a result of the accident.

The motorbike has been written off by the insurance company and we have already decided on a new motorbike to purchase…:)

Rest assured I have been creating amongst all this drama, and will be back very soon with lots of lovely photos to show you.

Thanks for your patience and I promise you I will be back to blogging on a regular basis very soon.

Thanks for visiting.
