For the birds card #6

Hi Friends

I know this post seems to be taking forever to come to an end and I apologize for that.

These past couple of weeks life has seemed to have got the better of me and I have had very little time to blog.

This is the last 6×6″ card in the For the Birds gift box set.

For the Birds box set - Xmas

So this one is a little different from the rest because I used Silver Foil as the mat on the Whisper White card stock.

I themed this little one just for Christams and love this little ice-skating bird.

I have some really cute 3d items that I made in my last kids class to show you in my next past.

I have to send out a BIG thank-you to Pinterest for all the inspiration it provides me in finding fun, simple, cute projects to create with my kids class.

Come back again soon to see what we made.

Thanks for visitng.

For the birds card #5

Hi Friends

Sorry for the delay in posting, last week was pretty hectic here, plus we had a long weekend at the start of the week so I had four days to do five days worth of work in.

This is the fifith card in my little series of For the Birds gift box.

For the Birds box set - Thank-you

This little card uses the new In Colour Blackberry Bliss.  It is such a lovely colour and definitely one of my favourites.

Only one more card to show you in this series.

Thanks for visiting.

For the Birds card #4

Hi Friends

I hope you had a lovely World Cardmaking Day this past Saturday and got a chance to create something wonderful.  If you did I would love to hear about it.  Just leave me a message a the end of this post with either a link to your blog or your Facebook page so I can see what you made.

I had errands to run on Saturday morning, we finally had our app0intment at the post office to lodge our passport applications in anticipation for our cruise to New Zealand in December, then I had to go check out some dresses for my dad’s partner and my husband wanted to visit Bunnings & Masters to purchase some seedlings.

Consequently, by the time I got home from all that running around I really wasn’t in the mood to create anything, so I spent the rest of World Cardmaking Day lounging on the couch.

Don’t despair though, Monday is a public holiday here in Queensland so I have been creating for my kids class next week.  Once I have finished showing you this series of mini 6×6″ cards I will show you what we are making.

For the Birds box set - Love you

There are only two more cards to show you in this group of cards.  This little one is made with Whisper White card stock as the base and a mat of Blushing Bride card stock.

I watercoloured the bird and it’s nest and used Itty Bitty Banners for the greeting and the co-ordinating framelits to cut it out.

Remember, I always love to hear you comments so feel free to comment on any of my posts.

Most products can be purchased through my Stampin’ Up! shop or by clicking on the shopping trolley on the left hand side.  You can also click on both of the catalogues and download a PDF file of the two latest catalogues.

Any questions or assistance you may require can be forwarded to me via my email.

Thanks for visiting

For the Birds card #3

Did you see my last two posts?  If not scroll down and be amazed by what is on offer at the moment with Stampin’ Up!.

If you have any questions about any of the promotions of products or even my creations, please feel free to either comment on the relevant post or send me an email, I am always happy to help you in any way I can.

I want to show the 3rd 6×6″ card that belongs to my For the Birds box gift set.

For the Birds box set - Friend

As with the previous cards this little gem starts with a Whisper White card stock base with a mat of Smoky Slate card stock that has been embossed with the Cloudy Day Embossing Folder.

I used a strip of Whisper White Grosgrain Ribbon and stamped the image onto Watercolour paper with Black StazOn.

My watercolour pens were used to colour in the mailbox with Smoky Slate inkpad and the cute little bluebird was watercoloured with my Watercolour Pencils.

Itty Bitty Banner stamp set and co-ordinating framelits were used to make the greeting.

Pop back again real soon to see the next card in this series.

Thanks for visitng.
