Even though both my husband and myself aren’t huge fans of Halloween and have never taken our own kids trick or treating or even been trick or treating as kids ourselves, I decided that I would have a Halloween theme for one of my Oct kids classes.
I realize that Halloween is much more popular here in Australia than it was when our kids were little so after checking with the kids mum I went ahead and held a Halloween kids class.
The girls just loved it, especially Elise who apparently loves everything goulish and creepy.
I only have photos of two of the projects we made because the third was a Halloween goody bag for the girls to take trick or treating and have filled with lots of sweets.
The first project we made was this really cute witches hat, the girls hat was a little different as we embossed it with the Spiderweb embossing folder (now retired) to give the hat a little bit more interest. Basic black card stock, Pumpkin Pie ribbon and ribbon sliders (retired) were used to make our little witches hat.
We also made this label swing card with lots of bats and halloween theme DSP and washi tape.
We even stamped a goulish greeting on the inside. This card was made with Pumpkin Pie card stock and the Labels Framelit from Stampin’ Up!. The DSP is a retired set called Witches Brew (thanks Shan for the last minute donation of the DSP) and the washi tape with all the skulls is also from Stampin’ Up! but now retired.
As I said the girls also made goody bags but I didn’t get any photos.
Thanks for visiting.
