Kids Class – Thank-you

Hi Friends

Well my kids classes are coming to a close for this year, not sure if they will continue into next year but fingers crossed they will.

If you would like me to teach your children how to make cards, 3D items and lots of other fun stuff with Stampin’ Up! products then contact me today to arrange a time for the new year.

This class was all about saying thank-you.  A very important thing, don’t you think?

We made three cards, one for our teacher at school and two others that I challenged the girls to think of people who deserved a big thank-you.  It could be their dance teachers, their choir master, their basketball coach, someone from church, anyone who the girls had spent time with during the year and wanted to show their appreciation for all the effort they put in.

Here is our first card that we made for their teachers.

Teacher appreciation card - Thank you classDon’t you just love this blackboard card?

The girls had so much fun making them and we wrote each of their teachers name on the blackboard.

Thank you class 3

Next we made this really simple but really effective card.  I love the new Little Letters Framelits from Stampin’ Up! you can die cut out any word you like.  They are so versatile.

This card has a Whisper White card stock base with a mat of Melon Mambo and then another mat of Whisper White with the work THANKS die cut out.  We stamped the large smudge from the Work of Art stamp set onto the white mat before we die cut out the letters.

I love this card so much it really looks quite stunning I think.

Thank you class 2

Our third card was also a simple one.  The girls are quite young so I always try to do one complicated or difficult project and two easier ones, otherwise I find they loose interest if the projects are too difficult.

Although this card is super simple I love how cute it looks.

We started with Hello Honey card stock with a Whisper White Mat that we stamped the dot from the Work of Art stamp set in Hello Honey ink.  We then inked the Thank You in Black Staz On ink.

Lastly we added some white and gold bakers twine and wrapped it around the the mat a couple of times.

Which one is your favourite?  I would love to hear your comments.

Thanks for visiting.
